Set in a 3.5-hectare park, an oasis of tranquility in the heart of the fascinating Camargue countryside. The Auberge Cavalière and ****Le Pont des Bannes (see p. 655), adjoining and communicating, form a complex managed by the same family.

Station : Arles (25 min) or Nîmes (40 min). Airports : Nîmes or Montpellier (40 min). Road : N113, A9 exit Arles-Camargue.

A simple, refined cuisine with Provençal flavours to discover in the spacious dining room, on the patio or beside the swimming pool (120 covers).
Accommodation :
48 authentic "gardian" (herdsman) cabins that are air-conditioned, and 34 bedrooms in the purest Camargue style. All are very comfortable and well equipped.
Leisure activities :
Riding on Camargue horses, Spa & relaxation area, open-air swimming pool and jacuzzi, "quick tennis". Hiking or ATB excursions.
Organised activities : flamenco evenings, picnics in the dunes, visit to a bull ranch with the breeder, discovery of the flora and fauna of the Camargue on horseback, in a carriage or 4-wheel drive vehicle, canoeing on the Petit Rhône.
Sightseeing : Arles, Aigues-Mortes, the Pont de Gau bird sanctuary, the Camargue museum, etc.
