History of Réunir company
Réunir (Rencontres et Communications) was created by Philippe Juranville in 1986. Before that he was marketing director of a major pharmaceutical company and had to face the difficulty of finding places for his business meetings. He had to contact each facility for a brochure and compare each offer based on criterias often different. His efforts often ended to frustration and non-optimal choice for both decision makers and facilitys.
Driven by an entrepreneurial vocation, Philippe Juranville left his company to create Réunir and to be its chairman. With Paul Tran Trung, a former colleague who became Sales Director and Françoise Laurain as CEO, Philippe Juranville gradually convinced facilities like rooms, lounges, hotels, conference rooms, to present their offers in one guide with objective criteria and identical for everyone. The patented tri-criteria ranking system offered in the Guide (classification by region, by location in town / out of town, then by capacity) allows users to preselect in a few minutes the places that may be of interest and to contact them without intermediaries.
In addition to the paper version, the Réunir Guide was launched on the Minitel in 1988. In 1989, Réunir began to publish Scoop, the newsletter for decision makers (that began the Réunir magazine in 2006). In 1994, Réunir organized the first professional meetings. In 1998, the entire Guide was launched on the Internet.
Since January 2006, other entrepreneurs have been taking the lead of Réunir with the will to enter its development in this history of innovation. The company is now led by Eric Guillemin, Executive Director.
Today as yesterday, Réunir is true to its vocation, its innovative spirit and values ??of its founders: performance of the supply, quality of service, respect of customers.
