Guide Réunir

As the indespensable Business Tourism reference for the past 23 years, the Guide Réunir enables you to pinpoint the appropriate venue or service provider for your professional event.

  • Designed as a work tool, the Guide is set out according to "three-criteria" classification (area, location, reception capacity) accompanied by numerous indexes and lists. The establishments and service providers are presented on detailed data sheets.
  • Each establishment is visited by our teams : the information is validated so as to provide you with additional security.
  • Updated annually and printed on certified "sustainable development" paper, the Guide is sent out free of charge in September of each year to all Réunir subscribers.

History of the company

Philippe Juranville, Françoise Laurain et Paul Tran Trung en 2006.

Réunir (Rencontres et Communications) was founded by Philippe Juranville in 1986. Shortly beforehand, he was Marketing Director for a leading pharmaceutical laboratory, where he had great difficulty finding venues for his professional meetings. After requesting a brochure from each establishment, there was then the task of trying to compare each offer, often based on different criteria, with an end result of much frustration and not necessarily the right choice, neither for decision-makers nor the establishments themselves.

Driven by his entrepreneurial flair, Philippe Juranville left his previous company to create Réunir and be appointed Chairman. With Paul Tran Trung, his former colleague who became Sales Manager, and Françoise Laurain nominated Managing Director, Philippe Juranville gradually managed to convince establishments (meeting and reception rooms, hotels, conference centres) to advertise their facilities and services in a Guide, using the same pattern for each one according to the pertinent criteria. The Guide's patented three-criteria classification system (classification of establishments by area, followed by in-town / out of town location, then by reception capacity) allows the users to rapidly pre-select the establishments liable to interest them and then contact them directly.

In 1988, the Guide Réunir became accessible on the Minitel. The following year, Réunir published Scoop, the newsletter for decision-makers (which became Magazine Réunir in 2006). In 1994, Réunir organised the first Rencontres Professionnelles trade fair. As of 1998, the complete Guide was accessible on Internet.

Since January 2006, Réunir has been taken over by businessmen with an eye to further developing this history full of innovation. The company is now run by Managing Director Eric Guillemin.

Today as it was yesterday, Réunir remains faithful to its initial aims, its desire to innovate, and the values of its founders : high-performance arrangements, quality of service and respect for the client.
